Use of applied kinesiology in psychology and psychiatry |

|
| Applied kinesiology has been used in the practice of psychology and psychiatry since the early 1970's. | |
One of the original teachers of applied kinesiology is a world renouned psychiatrist. He began showing the negative effects of emotions on muscle balance. Later, another member of the ICAK, determined a use for muscle testing in helping to test for emotional imbalances and phobias. From these beginnings, others have developed and researched how both positive and negative emotions and trauma in our life can adversely effect our health. Accurate muscle testing can be used by professionals, who are properly trained, to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of emotional problems. |
